We printed, cut and shipped some decals for TruckWurx Performance last Friday. TruckWurx Performance sells diesel performance parts and suspension systems for diesel trucks!

Here are a few tailgate wrap designs for one of our latest customers, Screamin Diesel Performance. As you can see, the designs are fantastic. We might just have the best graphic design team of any company in the world.

We had the opportunity to design and print some decals for a photographer, known as Jerrylyn Younts. Jerrylyn was pretty easy to design for. She had won our business window decal package in a raffle on a friend of ours Facebook page. We thought this logo fit her business name well.

This decal is a combination of a die-cut and printed decal. We printed the decal, and our precision cut system cut around the printed letters and designs exactly.

With everyone and their mother having smart phones these days, QR codes are a fun and easy way to advertise to your customers. Everyone loves pulling out their phone to see what message or website a qr code might lead them to. If you have an idea for a QR code marketing idea, let us know. We can put QR codes on decals, banners or other kinds of signage. No problem!

And all you have to have is the idea. We can take care of the design and even supplement your idea with more ideas.

To the right, you can see an example of one of our own, in house QR Code Decals. It’s our flame logo icon, with a QR code in the center. If you scan this QR code, your phone will take you to our website. The grey line around this design shows you where the cut line is.

If you are unfamiliar with QR codes, they are like a bar code, but you can scan them with your phone. There are several sites on the internet that allow you to generate QR Codes. The latest one that we used was from Kaywa. From there, you simply attach whatever message, website, phone number, or email address you would like have, and the website will generate the QR code for you. From there, drag the code to your desktop and email it to us as an attachment. We’ll handle it from there!

This week we had the opportunity to design an airsoft BB bag label for Raptors Airsoft. It was a pretty fun job. We were the ones that initially designed the Raptors Airsoft logo so it’s been a blast continuing to develop their branding on all their product line. Let us know what you think!

One of the more rare orders that we get are “white on clear” decals, where people want clear decals with white ink. Well, only in the last couple years have their been solvent printers that even print white. And those printers aren’t even that good anymore. The best way to go about this is with thermal printing technology. It just so happens, VinylFire has a thermal printer!

In this situation, our customer needed 500 decals of the famous Calvin character, with their logo. They are a drug testing company so, in this instance, the Calvin character is more funny than crude.

After a quick mockup, the customer was ready to order. We had their decals printed, cut, masked and delivered in under 24 hours. We printed our white thermal resin on a high performance, 3M Clear vinyl with plastic backing.

For those of you that might have a coffee company, decals are a good way to build loyalty and grow your brand. Today we designed quickly printed out some decals for one of our local coffee houses, Calypsos Coffee located in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Another popular coffee company, Dutch Bros Coffee, is good about designing new decals to give out to their customers almost every month. It’s a great idea and a relatively inexpensive way to engage your facebook fans and your clients. It’s also a great way to show your customers that you care and that you want their help in building the reputation of their favorite coffee company.

The decals in these pictures are thermal printed on our intermediate vinyl. Our intermediate vinyl is thick enough that we don’t have to overlay the decals with masking for easier installation.
